Job Brief

We are seeking dishwashers to join our culinary team across three locations. As a dishwasher, your primary responsibility is maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring efficient washing and sanitization of all dishes and utensils. You play a critical role in upholding hygiene standards and supporting kitchen operations.

Duties include gathering used plates, bowls, and utensils, operating washing machines, and stacking clean items appropriately. This role contributes to kitchen efficiency and cleanliness, supporting the restaurant’s operation. It’s ideal for those seeking entry-level positions in the culinary industry.

Please note that this position occasionally requires evening or weekend shifts.

Languages : English

Education

Some secondary school education is usually required.

Experience

  • No requirement, but work experience as a Dishwasher or on Wait Staff will be an asset.
  •  On-the-job training is provided.

Tasks:

  • Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables
  • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
  • Load buspans and trays
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used
  • Package take-out food
  • Portion and wrap foods
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sharpen kitchen knives
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
  • Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
